Property
taxes, like other taxes, are a very real cost of doing business

property and three standard phases of the appraisal framework.

approaches to valuing property are:
- income approach
- sales comparison approach
- uniform and equal approach
- and cost approach.

approach can slash a company's tax bill. Informal discussions,
Appraisal Review Board hearings, and judicial appeals make up
the three major phases of a property tax protest. Frequently,
the judicial appeal is the most important step in reducing a
customer's property taxes. However, many firms can't or won't
